VINYASA & HOT YOGA

Strength & Flow

Hot yoga is a form of yoga as exercise performed under hot and humid conditions, resulting in increased sweating out of toxins and increased flexibility – warm muscles = loose muscles.


Vinyasa yoga is all about breath and flow, consisting of smooth transitions between asana (poses) in time with the breath. These styles of yoga create heat in the body while increasing endurance, strength, stability and balance.

YIN & GENTLE YOGA

Restorative

Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga that incorporates principles of traditional Chinese medicine, with asanas (poses) held for longer periods of time than in other styles. Particularly helpful in reducing stress, improve flexibility, released fascia and increases mobility.

PILATES

Strength & Conditioning

We have two body pilates teachers who double as physiotherapists. Pilates is a strengthening and lengthening form of exercise that focuses on your core (trunk) muscles while also training your arms and legs.

Comfort & Grounding

Prenatal yoga is a multifaceted approach to exercise that encourages stretching, mental centring and focused breathing. Research suggests that prenatal yoga is safe and can have many benefits for pregnant women and their babies. Prenatal yoga can help to improve sleep, decrease lower back pain, nausea, headaches and shortness of breath.

Becoming a mum challenges your body, mind and emotions. Our Mums & Bubs Yoga is a friendly, fun & supportive way to bond with your baby whilst taking the time to nurture yourself. 

KIDS YOGA

Cultivate Attention

Kids Yoga with Lucy helps children between the ages of 5-17 find stillness, build awareness, have fun with movement, become aware of their breath and learn to slow the mind. Also helping to build strength, stability, flexibility and coordination in a fun creative way.

MASSAGE THERAPY

Loosening Muscles

Massage therapy (including myotherapy) is the practice of kneading or manipulating a person's muscles and other soft-tissue in order to improve their wellbeing or health. It is a form of manual therapy that includes holding, moving, and applying pressure to the muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia.

Energy Healing

Reiki is a Japanese form of alternative medicine called energy healing. Reiki practitioners use a technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which a "universal energy" is said to be transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical healing.

ACUPUNCTURE

Unblocking

Acupuncture is a key component of traditional Chinese medicine in which thin needles are inserted into the body into specific points along your meridian lines – the pathways it is believed the flow of energy or life force (known as chi or qi) flows through. It is traditionally believed that by accessing these meridians your energy flow will re-balance. Some practitioners view the acupuncture points as places to stimulate nerves, muscles and connective tissue. It is believed that this stimulation boosts your body's natural painkillers resulting in relief from stress, back pain, headaches, neck tension and more.

Guidance

Tarot card reading is the practice of using tarot cards to gain insight into the past, present or future by formulating a question, then drawing and interpreting cards. Tarot reading is a way to receive answers to your questions or be counselled on your concerns.
